Why is everyone pretending? You say you’re an individual. Do you even know what that means? You’re being everything but you. Take a look around. You’re a robot. The same as them. Same looks, same life, same lies.
You think you’re more, but to them You’re just a puppet in the game. A useless toy. Soon to be thrown away.
I missed that.Run home screaming.I missed that.
Crazy circles in the dark.
Have I ever told you I missed that?
Fall to the ground. Count the stars in my eyes. Did it mean anything to you?
Lie awake to watch the shadows. Write your name in the clouds. Did it even happen?
Bright lights fade. You gave it all up and didn’t look back. Nothing lasts forever.
But I thought we could. Stand the test of time. Show them all we’re better.
But we were nothing special. At least not to you.
Have I ever told you I missed that?
Without you.Please don’t let me lose you. I couldn’t take the pain. You mean so much to me. If you left, I’d never breathe again. Never open my eyes. I’d be too scared of not seeing you there.Without you.
I’m sorry I changed. I don’t want to feel like this. When you don’t. It’s not fair. I hate seeing you so lost. And seeing what it’s driven you to do.
I’m terrified of losing you. If you left I’d fall apart. Into a million pieces, scattered across the ground. Too many to put back together. So I’d remain broken and incomplete. Without you.
